Lisa Wu
Millions of people have come to know her as The Real Housewives of Atlanta's sweetheart, but what may surprise them is Ms. Wu's love of the arts. Ms. Wu has returned to her first love of writing, acting and producing. Ms. Wu started this journey over 15 years ago writing and producing a gospel stage play that Tyler Perry directed entitled A Change is Gon' Come. She also wrote, produced and starred in a feature film entitled Blackball in 2000. Ms. Wu's transition back "home" has already proven that she has made the right choice as she has several films due to be released in 2013. Her upcoming projects are as follows: Must be the Music starring Charles S. Dutton, Tasha Smith and Clifton Powell; The Internship with Will Ferrell, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn; First Impressions with Lamar Rucker and Lisa Arrindell Anderson nd Envy or Greed with Rockmond Dunbar. Ms. Wu co-authored a book with Miasha Coleman entitled, When the Cake is Made, which will be coming to the big screen soon. |
